A 50 amp alternator that resembles the original model T generator. Will only work on 12-volt negative ground systems. You just have to attach a wire to the terminal that is only hot when the ignition switch is turned on.
It has mounting screws and hardware included to mount a cut-out for appearance only. Your hot wire will have to go directly to the terminal on the alternator. If you want the wire to hook up to the cut out as original, you'll have to open up the cut out, cut it out and attach a wire to link the terminals together. 1 year warranty
Replacements for the Mitsubishi style alternators that had the external regulators. Plugs into the 4 hole connector.
Current Delco style alternators do not use these as they have internal regulators. U.S.A.
These re-manufactured alternators mount in place of the old generator without any modification. Comes with built in voltage regulator, so there is no longer any need for the old cut out.
Note: The 6-volt alternator puts out about 20-25 amps and the 12-volt puts out about 45-50 amps.
Note: Will not work on Right Hand Drive cars. U.S.A.
