One accessory we believe in! To use, drill bottom cap of rod. Groove the babbit in the form of a X from the drilled hole. Each time the rod dips into the oil it forces oil into the X groove and keeps the bearing surface coated. U.S.A.

If you have purchased a set of our new forged connecting rods made for insert bearings, these special bolts hold the cap in place. They fit the style of rods that have the inserts that wrap around the edges of the rod. New rods will already have these included, torque the new bolts to 35 ft lbs. Once they have been torqued, they will stretch and should not be reused again. Sold individually. NOT for the T-3024-A stroker rods.

Stroker rod for model T's running the Scat crankshaft with the model A size journals. Rods are retained in the stock style T pistons by teflon buttons that must be fit to the pistons or by having pistons machined for snap rings. Neither the teflon buttons or snap rings are included.
