The Ford car was designed to use this extra heavy clinging type oil in the rear axle. This oil is almost a grease in weight and clings to the ring gear. Do not overfill. New squeeze bottle with a pour spout. Model T requires 1 quart for the rear axle. Model A requires 2 quarts total for the rear end, transmission and steering box. U.S.A.

This cartridge assembly will replace your factory outer axle bearing and sleeve. The assembly has an O-ring in the OD to seal the assembly to the axle housing and is sealed in both ends of the cartridge to keep the grease in. Uses Timken tapered roller bearings and races for the axle to rotate on. See "downloadable extra" for installation instructions. U.S.A.
NOTE: Not recommended for use in axle housings that have had the ends cut off for for the floating style rear hubs. (T-2887 and T-2887-W)
