This bearing is used on the main shaft of the transmission.

Sold on exchange only. We'll need your old shifter tower with the shifter rail forks, transmission case, rear bearing retainer and main drive bearing retainer.
Tower is rebuilt with a new lever spring, retainer and plunger kit. The balance of the transmission is rebuilt using all new components. Drain plug is included but no oil.
If you're not sending us the transmission core from your vehicle, be sure the rear bearing retainer bolt pattern matches the bolt pattern of the universal joint housing caps that are on your car. There were 2 different bolt patterns.
These units are sold on exchange only and we MUST HAVE YOUR REBUILDABLE CORE ON HAND BEFORE WE CAN SHIP ONE OUT.
Each unit is degreased, sand blasted, and painted. New chrome gear shift lever installed with a new spring, new plungers and spring, forks repaired and straightened as necessary, shift rails replaced if necessary.
If you have a brake to front style of tower, remove your brake ratchet before sending in the core. U.S.A.
