Part # A-6303 | Model Year 28-31
A brand new Scat brand "FORGED" crankshaft that is counterbalanced crankshaft for the Model A. All bearing diameters are standard. Rear slinger area is machined as original. Crankshaft is forged overseas but all machining is done here in the states.

Same crankshaft as our A-6303 except this one has the slinger machined to accept the modern style rear seal. A brand new Scat brand FORGED U.S. machined crankshaft that is counterbalanced for the Model A. All bearing diameters are standard.

A nice cast steel pulley. The one piece pulley is what Ford put on the car when it left the factory. The two piece pulley allows you to remove the pulley without removing the radiator.

The face of the crankshaft pulley where the ratchet nut engages should protrude beyond the edge of the crankshaft. If it doesn't, the ratchet nut will never tighten the pulley. This is normally caused by improperly machined crankshaft pulleys/crankshafts. This shim washer will accommodate these problems and allow the pulley to tighten. The pulleys we sell are machined to the Ford specifications and will not require this shim.

Bolts to the rear flange of the crankshaft using your original flywheel bolts. The center of this plate has a hex nut welded to it so you can turn the motor with a socket and ratchet or a wrench. U.S.A.
