Originally the Model A left the factory without an air filter. This carburetor has had internal modifications to improve the performance of the original carburetor when running one of the aftermarket air filter assemblies. A normal carburetor will tend to run rich with an air filter. All new, a core is not required. U.S.A.

Kit comes with Weber 3236 carb, manifold, carb mount kit, air cleaner and linkage. Boosts the Model A's performance by getting more air through. Model A choke will not hook up, you will need to add a cable type choke set up (A-9700-W). Fits 1928-34 4 cylinders.
You will need to run a pump and regulate your pressure to 2-3 pounds. There have been issues in the past with using these Weber carburetors with Mallory and FS distributors due to the advance curve being too slow in advancing.
They need lighter springs to bring the advance on sooner. To verify, remove your Mallory or FS and replace with a stock style distributor and see if the issue goes away.We recommend purchasing one of the Nu-Rex timing kits so your timing is set up properly giving you the ability to check with a timing light, the part number A-6252. 25 degrees max advance and all advance
