On the early style emergency brake cross shaft, these springs pushed against the A-2839-R bushings to keep the cross shaft centered.
The springs were also used in the original style radius rod cap assembly. U.S.A.

Carrier and band are blasted & painted. Bushings installed in toggle lever housing & reamed, new A-2636-A toggle lever is installed, band is relined, and all components are assembled with new A-2633-S toggle lever pins, and new A-2624 springs.
Parts are assembled using your existing A-2628 toggle links and A-2632 connecting lever. If either of these 2 components are bad, they will be replaced and the cost added.
If toggle lever housing is missing or bad, new A-2637 housings will be installed and billed. U.S.A.
Sold on exchange only, we must have your old bands before we will ship ours. Band is sandblasted, primed and relined with woven lining. U.S.A.
