Hood

At last, an alternative to the bulky hood prop kit that mounts to the radiator brace rods at an affordable price! If you are mounting this kit on a 1930 or 31, it is held in place with one of your existing screws that hold the gas tank to the firewall. If you are mounting these to a 1928 or 1929, it will be necessary to drill a hole in the rain trough just behind the lacing that your hood rests on. We include instructions as well as hardware for mounting when needed. Clips are nickle plated. Two pieces of slit black poly tubing are included in the kit to protect your hood from being scratched. The tubing slides over the round lip at the bottom of your hood where it will make contact with the clip.

If the bottom of your hood is tipped forward and hitting the radiator shell, these shims will correct the problem. Slip these steel shims between the rear hood retainer and the cowl. U.S.A.

These are sandwiched between the bottom of the hood shelf and the top of the fender where the hood latches are mounted. Hood latch screws included U.S.A.

Mounts on top of the fender and fills the gap under the hood and finishes off the front edge of the fender. All new tooling, American Made! Ours fit, these are not ill fitting imports. U.S.A.

This is the special hook that holds the top lacing on. The hook pulls the wire down taunt to hold the lacing in place. U.S.A.

When using a 1932 style center hinge on your Model A hood, you will need this special retainer for the rear mounting of the hood. U.S.A.
