These brackets are needed when adding a luggage rack to the back of a Model A that has a spare tire on the back. Extends the rack beyond the spare tire.
If you are just adding a rack for looks and won't be putting a trunk upon it, these are fine. Otherwise, get the heavy duty brackets. These can not be used if you are running the long front style bumpers on the back of your car.
