Machined aluminum with sealed ball bearings in front and rear for smooth operation. Fan shafts need to have the diameter that rides inside the bearings of the fan hub reduced slightly. You can chuck the threaded end of the fan shaft in a lathe or an electric drill and reduce the diameter with sand paper until the hub slides on with slight resistance. U.S.A.
