Body sockets are used on the upper sides of the doors and body panels to provide an anchor for the A-37105 and A-37105-X male side curtain fasteners. Used 1926-27 Model T's and 1928-31 Model A's. U.S.A.

They were also used on 1926-27 Roadsters and Touring cars to attach the side curtains to the body and top irons. They push into a hole in the door and quarter panel just below the top of the door/quarter panel. The male fastener A-37105 that is attached to the side curtains engages with this part.
