A felt washer that fits over camshaft behind the brass timer shield. Tip on using felt washer: The washer is used to soak up excess oil but if it's too thick it may cause the brass plate T-3222 to rub on the timer brush. It's simple to correct. Cut down the thickness of the felt washer. U.S.A.

A modern type seal that presses into timing cover in place of the original felt. NOTE: There is a lot of variation in the timing covers where this seal fits. If your timing cover was bored on the low side of the tolerance, these seals press in nicely. If your timing cover happens to have been bored on the high side of the tolerance, the seal will be too loose and will require additional sealant. We recommend JB-Weld or similar epoxy for locking the seal to the timing cover. U.S.A.
