Squared top U-bolts were used from the beginning of production until February of 1930. Originally these were a forging and stamped so the inside surface was flat other than the threads. These are made out of round stock but fit and function just like the original forged bolts did. Sold individually, 2 required. USA
A set of 4 thin style grade 8 nylon insert locking nuts for securing the front spring U-bolts. The A-5310-AX leaf springs are slightly thicker than the originals which results in issues aligning the cotter pin hole for castle nuts. You can either file down the castle nuts so they go deep enough for cotter pin hole to align or use these self locking nuts. USA
Early style crank guide that was used from the beginning of production until February of 1930. Used with the square top style U-bolts.
NOTE: Quality is not the greatest on these! They are about .050" thicker than the originals which can cause the cotter pin holes not to line up on the U-bolts.
And the two dimples that engage with the holes in the cross member are too large in diameter and the center to center is wider than they should be. They can be filed so they will engage properly with cross member.
Use a good original if at all possible.
