For the emergency brake, this is the arm that goes through the backing plate. The lever that the brake rod attaches to slides over the end of this shaft with a key-way. It is an import, but of excellent quality. We make it drilled and tapped for a grease fitting.

This is the shaft housing only. Often bushings are worn out allowing the A-2636-A toggle lever to wear into this housing.
