I have 26 roadster that has problem going good in high gear (slipping). Is there adjustment or what parts need replacment? Do you need to disassemble the complete trasmission?
Your transmission may just need adjusted. You have a slow speed adjustment and a clutch adjustment. I would suggest you get a copy of the BT-T Transmission book that is published by the Model T Ford Club. You will find this book listed in the model T book section of the catalog. It will give you all the information you need to know for adjusting the slow speed connection, adjusting the bands, and adjusting the clutch. All of these adjustments can be made externally or through the inspection cover on top of the tranny.Date Added: 06/08/05
