I see you offer kevlar bands. I remember years ago when the "hard bands" came out, that they chattered an awful lot. Do the kevlar bands have any tendancy to do this and do they wear the drums faster than the cotton bands? Thanks for your help.
These bands are nothing like the early hard kevlar linings that used to be out several years ago. These kevlar linings are more like the original cotton linings. We run these in our own cars, when adjusted properly, they will give you excellent life. Kevlar linings will get hotter than the old cotton linings if they are not adjusted properly. If the bands are set up with too much drag, that will cause the drums to heat up. Proper adjustment is the key.Date Added: 12/19/05
