For the metal stem inner tubes, does the A-1500-N 1928-31 nut really go on the inside of the wheel securing the A-1500-W 1928-31 bridge washer? If so the rim washer is all that secures the stem on the outside?
You are correct, the rim washer slides down over the stem first with the flat portion going against the tube. The rim nut goes on next, then stick the stem through the hole in the wheel. The rim washer holds the stem in place on the outside of the rim.Date Added: 09/21/05
