WHAT IS THE ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE FOR FINE TUNING MY 1929 MODEL A TOWN SEDAN STEERING? THANK YOU. Harry Schmidt
The adjusting procedure really depends on if you have a 7-tooth or 2-tooth steering column. 1929 could have either one. The adjustment of either box is not a simple process. The column must be removed from the car to properly set up the box. We carry two books that cover that process. The cheapest of the two books is the BS-2. If you do not have any books or shop manuals, I would recommend getting the BM-2 Mechanics Handbook. This book will cover your entire chassis/driveline and gives very good step by step instructions with line drawings. The procedure is much too involved to try and describe without having a manual in front of you.Date Added: 10/29/04
