Can the steering column support bracket (a-3520-e) be fitted to a 1931 slant windscreen model a. If so how and what do you fit it to.
That new style of tank support was introduced in May of 1931. If you have an early 31, it is possible that your car would not have had this style of support for the steering column. You can add this to your car without modifying what you currently have. The A-3520-E support attaches under the dash rail using two of the existing bolts that attach the gas tank to the body. You will have to drill the middle hole in your tank/body. Once the bracket is bolted with the two holes that are already there, you can use the support as a guide to drill the last hole.Date Added: 10/05/04
