What is the secret for installing a seal in the rear wheel on a 1928 Model A? The O.D. of the seals seems to be at least .010 larger than the I.D. in the wheel. Any help would be appreciated. I have already scrapped two seals.

Check the ID of your hub towards the outside edge and inside where the seal would be placed. Often hubs get worn around the outer edge by the snap ring and the metal is rolled inward creating a smaller ID that will cause problems installing seals. Easy to fix, just take a burr grinder or a dremmel tool and clean up the leading edge of the opening so it is the same size as the area of the hub where the seal sets in place. I usually use an arbor press to install them. Put a coating of oil on the OD of the seal, lay a piece of wood on top of the seal and press it in flush with the piece of wood. Then you can tap them into place using a large diameter round punch. Push them in just far enough to get the snap ring in place.
