How do you remove the clear lens on a Brown 540 cowl light?
Most of the original lenses were rolled into place. What I mean is the lens was put into position and then the metal was spun against the lens to hold it in place. This is almost impossible for the average person to duplicate. You will have to bend the metal to remove the lens. When putting it back in, you can try to bend the metal back into place as best as you can. It is very hard to get it tight so put some silicone around the lens to hold it tightly.Date Added: 12/21/04
