I have a 30 tudor and the horn does not work. I straight wired the horn & it works. Is the horn contact at the top or bottom of the steering column? Also, how do I get it apart to clean the contacts? Thanks

The problem is probably in your light rod or the contact at the end of the light rod. Remove the wire bail that holds the light switch to the end of the steering column and take the light switch apart. In the middle of the contact ring for the light switch, the horn wire contact should be a brass button with a spring behind it. Clean that contact with a brass brush or something similar to get the surface good and clean. Then clean the solder contact that mates with the part you just cleaned that would be on the bottom of the light rod. Inspect the bottom contact to be sure none of the insulators around it are cracked or broken. If they are, you will have to either install a light rod repair kit (A-3616-RK) or install a new light rod.
