I have a 31 Deluxe Tudor which has been off the road for some years. I am thinking about converting it to a 12 volt system,mainly for headlights. Does Snyder sell any complete kits or do parts have to be purchased individually. If so, what will I need?

We do not offer all you need in a complete kit. You are going to need to change your battery, just go to your local parts store and ask for a 12-volt battery that is a group 1 size. Change all of the light bulbs. Either add a ballast resistor to your current 6-volt coil or purchase a 12-volt internally resisted coil from your local parts store. Add the A-13803 horn voltage reducer so you can keep your old 6-volt horn. The starter will work but I recommend changing the fields to the 12-volt fields that we sell. This will slow your starter down but it will still spin much faster than it did on 6-volt. Remove the generator and install one of the A-10001-A12 alternators.
