This may sound like a stupid question, but, when I put on the new gasket on the tillotson carb, should I put a seal of light oil or glue or anything else to help seal the gasket? thank you.
You should never use any kind of sealant on carburetor gaskets. Gasket sealer will ooze out when you tighten up the bolts. The sealant that oozes out can plug up you jets.Date Added: 11/23/04
