I am trying to remove the cowl gas tank from my 26 Roadster pickup. The problem: I cannot get the overflow pipe removed from the tank outlet, so that it will slip throught the hole in the firewall. Possibly corroded on. Any suggestions? Thank you
Make sure the bolt is out that locks it in place. You may end up destroying the pipe getting it out. You can make a new one out of some 5/8" brass tubing that you can get at your local hardware store.Date Added: 05/16/05
