My 1930 A truck has a bad shimmy. I assume that it needs new spindles. How do I know if I need all new spindles or just the rebuild kit ? What tools will I need to fix this problem ?

Jack up the front of your car and grab the tire at 12 & 6. Wiggle the wheel in and out, that will tell you if the problem is with your king pins. If you feel play when you do this, you have wear in the king pin area. In order to determine if you need the complete kit or just the kit less the pins will require that you tear the front end apart. If your king pins show any signs of wear where the bushings ride or if they show any signs of pitting, they should be replaced. You will also need the A-3111-R reamer to do that job unless you can borrow one from someone.
