I have ordered item A-16462-A2 1929 Stainless Running Board Trim. I need instructions on installation. Please send pictures of directions Thank you.

The inner piece of trim that goes along the side of the running board towards the splash apron was originally installed with a special headed bolt but it is not currently being reproduced. The easiest way to install it is with pop rivets. The short pieces that go at the fender ends simply get sandwiched between the fender and running board when they are bolted together. The broken over edge of the trim goes over top of the rubber. The last piece to install is the outer piece. The edge of the running board has a piece of metal sticking upward that the top of the trim will fit around and hang on. The bottom of this outer trim gets bent around the bottom of the running board. I have found the easiest way to bend it around is with a rubber mallet. Go a little at a time the full length of the board instead of just bending one area all the way over.
