On the exhaust maifold where big brass nut holds tail pipe to manifold is there suppose to be a donut gasket between exhaust pipe and manifold? or does nut hold pipe metal to metal ?? Thanks Leon in Neberaska
Nothing goes there originally, the nut just drew the pipe tightly against the manifold. If you have a questionable flange on your pipe or manifold, use some high heat Permatex to help seal it.Date Added: 02/08/05
