I am considering installing one on your high compression heads for a 1930 Model A. I have been told that it is best to replace the studs due to higher torque needed, from 50 to 65. Are new studs recommended and if so, which stud should I order? Thanks.

I would advise replacing the studs any time a head is changed as they do stretch. I really think the moly studs are overkill for a model A but some people think they need them. I have always just used the standard studs and torqued the head to 50 and 55 lbs. There really is no need to go any higher than that.
