My hand crank for my model a does not line up with engine as engine seems higher towards the front. Also resulting in upper radiator inlet not lining up very good with water outlet on cyl.head.
Check your front motor mount. We have found that an improperly assembled motor mount or simply the wrong motor mount causes the problem you have described. Please see the illustration in our catalog under motor parts. There is a very good line drawing showing the exact assembly of that unit. The most common problem is that people try to install the brass shouldered bushing above the cross member instead of below. The brass bushing that is used has a shoulder on it that comes up and rests on the underside of the cross member. The shorter of the 3 motor mount springs pushes against this bushing to keep it in place against the bottom of the cross member.
