i bought a new modern upper dist plate how do i get the old condenser out and hook up the new one. thanks roger

The old condensor is held in place with two screws, one at either end. Remove those two screws and the condensor will slide right out. One note of caution, when you remove the old condensor, it is best wrap the end of the tab with some electrical tape or slide a piece of hose over that tab so it does not short out on anything. This is the tab with the screw hole in it that the condensor was screwed to. The tab is riveted to the lower distributor plate.
