How do I time my model A?
Set your motor at top dead center by locating the dimple in the cam gear using the timing pin. Retard your spark lever. Loosen up the cam set screw and turn the cam counterclockwise with the rotor until the rotor is pointing at the #1 contact. (rotor will be pointing towards the right front tire) Turn cam clockwise until the points are just about to close and tighten up the cam set screw. Your done!Date Added: 05/18/04
