I am rebuilding a Model T buzz coil. What size is the capacitor? I need both volts and farads? Also, What do I use as a filler inplace of the tar that I have removed?
The capacitor is .47 farad, 400 volts. To my knowledge, people are still using tar to fill the coils. Most people reuse the old tar. Or, you can purchase new tar from a hardware store.Date Added: 08/04/04
