What can you tell me about installing seat belts?

Seat belts are a very good safety item to add to your model T or A. Since the early cars never had seat belts you are going to have to do some work in order to add them. You can not simply bolt them to the floor pans of your car because the floor is not strong enough to support them in the event of an accident. You need to anchor them to some kind of support. If you have somewhere that you can anchor them to a cross member of the body, that would be best. You can find old seat belts in the junk yard or some mail order houses offer seat belts.
