    A very common problem is the original cast iron flywheel housing is cracked. This is a direct aluminum replacement that is manufactured out of 1/2 356T5 material and weighs 4 pounds less than a stock iron housing. Outside appearance is identical to the original but internally they are beefed up to eliminate cracking. USA
